Your journey to Nice features a scenic drive with a stop at Mont Boron for a panoramic view of the city you’re about to explore. Once there, you’ll visit the Old Town and walk along Cours Saleya, a pedestrian area where a flower market is held every morning. Follow your guide to see the highlights before reaching a wine cellar and tasting a bold selection of local cheese and wine.

South of mainland Cannes, you'll explore the Lérins Islands on a kayak — founded around 410AD. You’ll be driven to Sunset 180º Bar to watch the sunset with a cocktail and light snacks. Then your group will be taken to Old Town for another cocktail and be given details on additional places to check out, or you can stick around if you’re having too much fun. A scheduled rendezvous time and destination will be provided to get you back on board. If you want to stay out longer — simply inform your guide that you’ll be making your way back on your own.

Take a scenic drive and walking tour of the Acropolis before heading to the airport. Reserve a spot in advance on a shuttle that will transfer you from the cruise terminal to Athens International Airport. After clearing customs at the terminal, there will be a shuttle reserved just for Virgin Voyages Sailors. From the port, you'll be driven over to the Eternal City. Here there will be photo stops at The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps, plus free time to explore independently. A guide will take you on a route from the Trevi Fountain, to visit the outside of The Colosseum, and over to the Roman Forum for a guided tour of its interior. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant, followed by a drive to Vatican City. Here you’ll get a tour of the Vatican Museum’s incredible artwork, while making your way into Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel. Your group will then walk over to St. Peter’s Basilica where you’ll have free time, before your return ride back to the ship.

On a drive into the countryside, you’ll tour the nearly abandoned Civita di Bagnoregio. This isolated village features narrow streets and ancient buildings made from stone — but most of the city no longer exists. You’ll then taste local wines in a nearby vineyard along with a traditional lunch. Before your trip back, visit Parco dei Mostri in Bomarzo where you’ll enter through a screaming mouth sculpture (the mouth of hell) and witness multiple macabre creatures throughout your walk.

After a drive into Rome’s city center, step into history on a tour of the city’s iconic Colosseum. Inside the arena, see where gladiators and wild animals fought to the death during Rome’s glory days. A guide will walk you over to Palatine Hill and through the Roman Forum, two of the city’s oldest relics that have survived millennia, then to the Trevi Fountain. Here your guide will give you details on where to meet later on, so you can continue your day discovering the Eternal City on your own.

Upon arrival, a local guide will give you a tour of St. Peter’s Square, a map, and instructions on where to meet before your return. Now, the whole day is yours to explore at your leisure. Afterwards, you’ll board a trolley that will take you into the town’s medieval city center where you’ll get a tour of the 14th-century Town Hall square, before enjoying free time to explore this incredible city on your own.

Spend the day immersing yourself in culinary history with a journey through Alta Tuscia Viterbese, an area devoted to Italy's rich olive oil tradition. Get lost in the ancient landscape as you visit the village of Tuscania, known for its beautiful churches and medieval city center. Then, visit an oil mill where you'll learn how olives are harvested and how oil production works.

Step into history on a visit to the Medieval city of Capalbio. Dating back to the Bronze Age, many buildings remain intact since the 1400s (or earlier) including Porta Senese, the Walkway of Ronda, and the Pieve di San Nicola. You’ll take a short walking tour, then have free time to explore independently. Afterward, enjoy the views of the countryside while riding over to a local vineyard to sample different blends in one the country’s most acclaimed wine regions, before returning to the ship.

Always wanted to learn how to make authentic Italian pasta from scratch? Now's your chance! You'll visit a local farmhouse, where you'll be welcomed with an aperitif before meeting your chef. The chef will lead the group in an immersive cooking lesson, making fresh Italian pasta and a traditional dessert.

A drive from the ship will take you into the center of Rome for a guided, driving tour. You’ll see the Circus Maximus, Caracalla Baths, Villa Borghese (a beautifully landscaped public garden), and get a quick photo stop outside The Colosseum. Afterwards, you’ll have time to explore at your leisure. Savor Barcelona with a trip to the charming village of Poble Espanyol. First stop at historic Montjuic hill, a former military station that is now a hub of art and culture. Just south of Barcelona lies Sitges, a picturesque town on the Catalan coast known for its film festivals and sandy beaches. From the cruise terminal, you'll be driven to Sitges' historic Old Town streets where you'll have free time to wander the city, swim in the Mediterranean, walk along the shore, or just relax in the breeze. Afterward, you will be driven to Barcelona's international airport to make your departure flight.
